First Stage (Technical)
1. APPLICATION (PROJECT PROPOSAL) FORM GTFS 2010 - Supporting documents for company background & technical Assessment (i. Form 9, 24 & 49. ii. Investment Grade Audit-IGA, CDM report, SREP report or equivalent project assessment report. Technical assessment by GTM Technical Evaluation Team (due diligence audit).
Risiko Bergantung Bahan Api Fosil
Submitted by haniff on Thu, 19/11/2009 - 15:15MALAYSIA terdedah kepada risiko jika terus bergantung kepada bahan api fosil, berikutan itu kerajaan menyalurkan bekalan elektrik dari Projek Hidro Elektrik Bakun ke Semenanjung yang turut membabitkan pemasangan kabel dasar laut bernilai RM10 bilion.
Menteri Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air, Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui, berkata ketika ini kebergantungan terhadap bahan api fosil mencapai lebih 90 peratus daripada keperluan elektrik di Semenanjung.
The Green Technology Financial Scheme (GTFS)

This fund will provide soft loans to companies that supply and utilise green technology. For suppliers, the maximum financing is RM50 million and for consumer companies RM10 million.

This is in view that the market growth is more responsive to reduction in costs and risks, than to gifts and subsidies. Thus, loan funding and / or the use of smart incentives is expected to initially build the market volume. For convenience, the loans and support are dedicated and eligible only to companies that help support the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of RE / EE project

Renewable Energy Business Fund (REBF)

This REBF is expected to act as a successful model in financing Renewable Energy Project in Malaysia in order to give better perspective to other developers and financial institutions towards developing and financing the same mechanism of RE project in the country.
