GT Financing Scheme - Application Process Flow

There are three stages of GTFS Application Process Flow:-
                    First Stage (Technical)
1. APPLICATION (PROJECT PROPOSAL) FORM GTFS 2010 - Supporting documents for company background & technical Assessment (i. Form 9, 24 & 49.  ii. Investment Grade Audit-IGA, CDM report, SREP report or equivalent project assessment report. Technical assessment by GTM Technical Evaluation Team (due diligence audit).

Risiko Bergantung Bahan Api Fosil

MALAYSIA terdedah kepada risiko jika terus bergantung kepada bahan api fosil, berikutan itu kerajaan menyalurkan bekalan elektrik dari Projek Hidro Elektrik Bakun ke Semenanjung yang turut membabitkan pemasangan kabel dasar laut bernilai RM10 bilion.

Menteri Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air, Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui, berkata ketika ini kebergantungan terhadap bahan api fosil mencapai lebih 90 peratus daripada keperluan elektrik di Semenanjung.

The Green Technology Financial Scheme (GTFS)

To promote green technology, the government will establish a fund amounting to RM1.5 billion. This fund will provide soft loans to companies that supply and utilise green technology. For suppliers, the maximum financing is RM50 million and for consumer companies RM10 million.
